STATEMENT OF FAITH
Impulse Apostolic Church
This Statement of Faith expresses the biblical doctrines and teachings that form the spiritual foundation of Impulse Apostolic Church. These beliefs guide our worship, teaching, leadership, and daily Christian living.
1. The Bible
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Scriptures are the final authority for doctrine, faith, salvation, and holy living.
2. The One True God
We believe in one God, who is eternal, infinite, holy, and sovereign. God has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration.
God is not three separate persons but one indivisible Spirit who has manifested Himself in different ways for the purpose of salvation.
3. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the one true God manifested in the flesh.
He is fully God and fully man.
Jesus Christ is:
He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died for our sins, was buried, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again.
4. Salvation
We believe salvation is found only in Jesus Christ and is received through obedience to the Gospel.
The biblical plan of salvation includes:
5. The Holy Ghost
We believe the baptism of the Holy Ghost is an essential experience for believers today.
The initial physical evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
The Holy Ghost empowers believers for holy living, spiritual growth, and service.
6. Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ alone for the remission of sins.
Baptism is an act of obedience and a necessary step in the new birth experience.
7. Holiness and Christian Living
We believe believers are called to live a life of holiness, separation from sin, and dedication to God.
Holiness includes both inward transformation and outward conduct that reflects obedience to Scripture.
We believe in modesty, purity, and a lifestyle that honors God in all behavior, relationships, and appearance.
8. The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all who have obeyed the Gospel and are born again.
The mission of the Church is to:
9. Spiritual Gifts and Power
We believe the gifts of the Spirit operate in the church today according to the will of God, including healing, miracles, prophecy, and spiritual manifestations.
10. The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return again.
He will judge all people and establish His eternal kingdom.
11. Resurrection and Eternal Destiny
We believe in the resurrection of the dead.
The righteous shall inherit eternal life with God.
The unrighteous shall face eternal judgment.

“Our vision is to make and multiply disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love people, and live out the Gospel in everyday life.”
